MeritBiz is the business travel division of Merit Travel Group Inc., Canada’s largest specialty travel company, and we’ve been providing corporate travel management solutions to many of Canada’s most respected and established organizations for 25 years. Exclusive Tours – Our wholesale cruise division providing exclusive small ship and expedition products.


Cruise Experts Travel – Our consumer facing cruising brand offering cruise trips around the world in various styles of travel.

Michael Merrithew

In addition to managing Merit’s Executive Team and overseeing the company’s growth strategy, Michael also sits as Chairman of GSM Travel Management, overseeing a global Board of Directors and Partner representatives from over 40 countries around the world. He is heavily involved in the Canadian travel industry, serving on several key industry boards, and contributing through various speaking engagements and advisory roles. Supporting his industry experience, Michael’s impressive educational and business experience in other industries has proven invaluable in successfully growing Merit, while never losing focus of what matters most – our clients.

Corporate social responsibility

WaterAid Canada

Working closely with the Canadian division of WaterAid, we strive to support their travel initiatives as well as involve ourselves in their active programs in Africa.


Amadeus House of Hope

In 2013 Louise de Grandpré volunteered with Amadeus House of Hope and worked closely with the charity to support and assist in the building of orphanages in Haiti.


United Way Campaign

We support the United Way Campaign to improve lives and build communities across Canada by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action.
